Already a force to be reckoned with, it’s hard to believe that Montreal Impact only began playing in the MLS during the 2012. This franchise is destined for great things. After a relatively poor 2014 season, which saw Impact go 6-18-10 and finish bottom of the Eastern Conference and 19th overall, Impact bounced back in 2015, going to 15-13-6, finishing third in the East and seventh overall. Although the 2016 regular season didn’t live up to expectations (11-11-12), Impact built on their fifth place finish by reaching the conference final of the MLS.
They eventually lost to Canadian rivals Toronto FC 5-7 on aggregate.

Montreal Impact Online Betting Tips
One player does not make a soccer team, but when the player in question is Didier Drogba you could make a case for such a statement. How will Impact fair without their talisman?
Drogba joined Impact in time for the 2015 season and was a massive hit the Montreal fans thanks to scoring 11 goals in 11 regular season games.
The following season, which was blighted by injury, saw the Ivory Coast international striker score 10 goals in 22 regular season games but it wasn’t enough for Impact to renew the 38-year-old’s (he turns 39 on March 11) contract as he enters the 2017 season as a free agent.
It is not only Drogba’s goals that Impact will miss — he has 286 goals in 663 club games in his career — but also his presence on and off the pitch.
Drogba has achieved more in his career than the majority of other players in the MLS. Having a player as experienced as him in the squad gives everyone a boost. Only time will tell if Impact will be able to cope without such an important player.
