Langer family dynasty

Bernhard Langer and his son Jason are +450 co-favorites to three-peat at The PNC Championship. Last year, Team Langer defeated Tiger Woods and his progeny Charlie in a playoff to capture back-to-back titles and their fourth championship overall. Bernhard also won the event with his son Stefan in 2004 and 2005, giving the senior Langer six tournament trophies in total.

With Tiger Woods still recovering from back surgery, last year's runner-ups won't be in the field this weekend.

Other PNC favorites

Team Cink (+450) is making its fifth appearance at The PNC Championship. Stewart Cink and his son Regan finished last year's 36-hole scramble 20-under par, eight shots behind Team Langer and Team Woods. Their best-ever result was a T-3 placement (-24) back in 2020.

Team Kuchar (+450) matched the lowest first-round score in tournament history with a 15-under 57 in the first round of the 2023 event before falling apart on Day 2. Matt and his son Cameron ended up T-5th (-19) before following that up with a T-12 (-18) finish last season.

Best Longshot Bets in Orlando

Team Daly (+700) claimed the 2021 event by two strokes over Team Woods. The two-time major champion and his son John Daly II have also finished runner-up twice, in 2018 and 2022. However, the duo finished six shots (-19) off the Langers' pace in 2023 and eight shots (-20) behind in 2024.

Team Singh (+750) won The PNC Championship in 2022, finally winning the tournament on their 16th try. Vijay, a three-time major champion, and his son Qass became the first team in tournament history to post a sub-60 score in both rounds. The pair finished T-3 (-22) in 2023, three shots off the lead, and T-3 in 2024, five shots back.

PNC Championship Picks

Given the absence of Tiger and Charlie, getting Team Langer at +450 seems like stealing. Take Bernhard and Jason to complete the three-peat in Orlando this weekend.
