Bukayo Saka opens as slight favorite

Bukayo Saka (+650) is a small favorite to claim his first Player of the Season award. The star right winger scored 12 goals and 13 assists last year, but finished second behind Declan Rice (+900) for Arsenal's player of the year in 2024/25.

The 23-year-old was named England Men's Player of the Year in both 2022 and 2023 for his work on the national team. The Gunners' recent signing of Noni Madueke has supporters worried the club is preparing for the exit of their star right winger.

Three for Salah?

Mohamed Salah (+900) could become the first Premier League player to ever win this award three different times. Last year, the Egyptian led Liverpool to just their second Premier League title. He scored 28 goals with 18 assists, setting a new record for the most goal involvements (46) in a 38-match season.

At 32, Saleh is the fifth-highest scorer in Premier League history with 185 goals, behind only Shearer (260), Harry Kane (213), Wayne Rooney (208), and Andrew Cole (187).

Other award contenders

Florian Wirtz (+700) joined Liverpool on a five-year, £116m deal in the offseason. The 22-year-old Bayer Leverkusen star scored 10 goals and 12 assists in 25 starts in Bundesliga last season.

Phil Foden (+800) won the 2024 Premier League Player of the Season before enduring a nightmare campaign with Manchester City last year. While the Academy star only managed seven goals in 2024-25, he looked refreshed and rejuvenated at the Club World Cup.

Premier League Player of the Season Picks

Cole Palmer (+800) was nominated on the six-player shortlist for the PFA Award last season after netting 15 goals in the Premier League. The 23-year-old was dominant while leading Chelsea to the Club World Cup in July, finishing with five goal involvements.

We'll take Palmer to win the Premier League Player of the Season award.
