Italy's Jannik Sinner and Spain's Carlos Alcaraz arrive at the ATP Doha Qatar Open as both the top two players in the world and the betting picks to win the tournament. However, neither player has ever won the event.
In fact, neither player has ever reached the ATP Doha final.
No matter. They are being set as the ones to beat in this 32-player field.
Oddsmakers believe that Sinner can get the job done. He's being set as the -140 odds-on favorite to win in the ATP Doha betting lines. Alcaraz is the -105 second betting choice in the tennis picks.
Let's look at the latest ATP Doha tennis betting lines. Remember, odds are always subject to change.

ATP Doha Qatar Open Men's Singles Top Contenders
ATP Doha, also known as the Qatar Open, has been held annually since 1993. One of two ATP events held in the Middle East, ATP Doha began life as an ATP 250 tournament. It was upgraded to an ATP 500 event in 2025.
The tournament is contested on outdoor hard courts.
Jannik Sinner (-140)
Sinner is seeing his first tournament action since losing in the Australian Open semifinal. He's seeded No. 2 in Doha.
Sinner is scheduled to return to competitive play at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open (ATP 500) in Doha, commencing February 16–21, 2026, where he will be among the top seeds alongside Carlos Alcaraz. @janniksin pic.twitter.com/TNkQmDYB1B

Sinner is Mr. Hard Court of the ATP Tour. The Italian player led everyone last season with a 50-3 record on hard-court surfaces. He's 5-1 so far this year.
Carlos Alcaraz (-105)
The Spaniard enters as the top seed. Alcaraz was the No. 1 seed in this tournament last year. However, he was upset by Jiri Lehecka in the quarter-finals.
This is his first tournament since Alcaraz became the youngest player to complete the career Grand Slam with his win in the Australian Open.
Daniil Medvedev (+1800)
Medvedev won this tournament in 2023. He beat Andy Murray in the final.
Alexander Bublik (+2800)
Bublik was a Qatar Open quarter-finalist in 2024. The No. 3 seed in this year's event, Bublik, comes to Qatar following a semifinal appearance in Rotterdam.

He won earlier this year in Auckland.
Andrey Rublev (+4000)
These are fairly long odds to get on a reigning champion. Rublev beat Jack Draper 7-5, 5-7, 6-1 in last year's ATP Doha final.
The Russian player has a strong history in this tournament. He beat France's Correntin Moutet in the 2020 final. Rublev was beaten by Gael Monfils in the 2018 Qatar Open final.
Jiri Lehecka (+4000)
After shocking top-seeded Alcaraz in three sets in the 2025 Qatar Open quarter-finals, Lehecka fell in three sets in the semifinals to Great Britain's Jack Draper.
Lehecka also reached the semifinals of this tournament in 2023.
Jaume Munar (+4000)
The Spaniard lost to Bublik in the Rotterdam quarter-finals. Munar also reached the quarter-finals earlier this year in Adelaide.
Ugo Humbert (+4000)
The Frenchman was a quarterfinalist at ATP Doha in 2024. He lost in the final earlier this year in Adelaide.
Qatar Open Longshot Bets
Karen Khachanov (+5000) won the 2024 ATP Doha title. He defeated Jakub Mensik (+5000) 7–6(14–12), 6–4 in the final. However, last year, Khachanov was ousted in the first round of the tournament by Medvedev. Khachanov was also in the semifinals here in 2022.
In last year's event, Stefanos Tsitsipas (+5000) was the No. 6 seed. Just like Khachanov, he was a first-round victim, losing to Hamad Medjedovic. Tsitsipas reached the quarter-finals in 2018.
Alexei Popyrin (+15000) got to the semifinals of this event in 2024.
ATP Doha Prop Bets
In ATP Doha tennis props, Alcaraz is the overwhelming -700 odds-on pick to win the first quarter. Sinner is -575 to capture the fourth quarter.
Medvedev is the +110 chalk to emerge from the second quarter. It's Bublik who is the +240 tennis betting pick to win the second quarter, just ahead of Lehecka at +320.
Whether you wager on the top half or the bottom half of the draw providing the tournament winner, you'll get the same -120 betting line.
And The Winner Is . . .
The bad news for Alcaraz is that ATP Doha is a graveyard for the top seed. The No. 1 seed has lost in the quarter-finals five years in a row. A top seed hasn't reached the final since 2017 and hasn't won since 2016.
There's much better news if you're Sinner, though. The No. 2 seed has won 50% of the past six Qatar Open titles. Combine that stat with Sinner's excellence on hard courts, and we're going with Sinner to win in the ATP Doha tennis picks.
