Volunteers vs Bulldogs
Georgia is a 3.5-point road favorite on Saturday after the line opened at 7.5. The movement is likely due to the Bulldogs only scoring 28 points against Austin Peay last week. Meanwhile, the Volunteers are coming off a program-record 72 points in the destruction of East Tennessee State.
The OVER/UNDER is set at 49.5 points. Georgia has won eight in a row in the series and has reached at least 30 points in 12 of the last 13 meetings.

One-sided Rivalry
Kirby Smart hasn't lost to Tennessee since 2016 in his coaching debut, reeling off eight straight W's since. While the Vols have won nine consecutive games at Neyland Stadium and are 21-1 since the start of the 2022 season, their lone loss was at the hands of the Bulldogs.
Josh Heupel has put an end to multi-year losing streaks to Alabama and Florida during his four-year tenure, but defeating the defensing SEC champs will be the Tennessee coach's greatest challenge to date.
Battles at Key Positions
Gunner Stockton will be making his first true road start in Knoxville. Georgia's dual-threat QB has 417 passing yards and two touchdowns this season with no turnovers. His opponent on Saturday, Joey Aguilaris, has already thrown five TDs while leading the Volunteers to 117 points in just two games.
The Bulldogs' once-vaunted defense only has two sacks this year while Tennessee has kept Aguilaris clean through the first two games. However, the transfer from Appalachian State won't have an easy time finding his receivers against Georgia's elite secondary.
Kirby Smart's club has also been dynamite defending the run, allowing 61.5 yards per game. That will be critical against a Vols club averaging 252.5 rushing yards a game.

Tennessee Volunteers vs Georgia Bulldogs Picks
While Tennessee looks explosive on offense to start the year, it's impossible to pick against Kirby Smart's SEC dynasty. We'll take Georgia to cover (-3.5) and extend the Bulldogs' winning streak over the Volunteers to nine straight games.
