Bulldogs vs Rebels
Georgia is a healthy 7.5-point home favorite on Saturday with the OVER/UNDER set at 54 points. This meeting marks the first time since 2022 that the Bulldogs will play host to a top 10 matchup where the visitors are ranked higher.
Kirby Smart's team improved to 4-1 on the season with a 20-10 road victory over Auburn. However, they suffered a 24-21 home loss to Alabama on Sept. 27 and barely survived Tennessee (44-41) on Sept. 13.

Ole Miss survives another close call
Ole Miss just squeaked by Washington State 24-21 last Saturday despite being favored by 31 points. They also have a seven-point victory over Kentucky and a six-point win over Arkansas. To make matters worse, the Rebels are on the road for the first time in five weeks.
To win their first game in Athens in almost 30 years, Lane Kiffin's team will need to start fast and take advantage of Georgia's sluggish first halves. While the Bulldogs first-half passing defense ranks 85th nationally, Mississippi's first-half passing attack ranks sixth.
SEC rivalry by the numbers
Georgia leads the all-time series 33-14-1, including a 19-4-1 home record. However, Lane Kiffin is 2-1 against Kirby Smart in the battle of the Nick Saban coaching tree.
In 2016, the No. 23 rebels downed the Bulldogs 45-14, handing them their first defeat of the season. Seven years later, No. 2 Georgia smashed No. 9 Ole Miss 52-17. Last season, the No. 16 Rebels upset No. 3 Georgia 28-10 in Oxford, causing their fans to storm the field.
The Bulldogs are 36-3 in its last 39 SEC regular season games, and 7-0 against top 10 ranked opponents at Sanford Stadium under Smart.

Georgia Bulldogs vs Ole Miss Rebels Picks
Trinidad Chambliss is making his first road start and the Bulldogs defense is allowing less than 92 rushing yards per game so it's difficult to see the Rebels moving the ball with any success. We'll take Gunner Stockton and Georgia to cover (-7.5) in Athens with the UNDER 54.
