Nelly Korda favored

Nelly Korda is a +750 favorite to win at Hoakalei Country Club this week. The World Golf Rankings No. 2 is competing for the $3 million purse at the LOTTE Championship for the first time since placing second in 2021.

Despite ranking second on Tour in scoring average at 69.78 behind Jeeno Thitikul (69.158), Korda is still seeking her first title in 2025 with only seven official events remaining on the schedule.

Loaded field

Three-time LPGA Tour winner Charley Hull (+1000), defending champion A Lim Kim (+1600) and two-time LOTTE Championship victor Brooke Henderson (+1400) are all in the field in Hawaii this week.

Henderson is the only player to win this tournament twice, going back-to-back in 2018 and 2019, while Hull is coming off a LPGA Tour victory at the Kroger Queen City Championship.

Defending champion A Lim Kim won the season-opening Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in 2025 and has four additional top 10s this season.

Will the streak continue?

The LPGA Tour has seen 25 different golfers win its first 24 official tournaments of the season. If the streak continues in Hawaii, it would match the tour record for the most winners (26) in a single year. That's only happened three times in the last three decades.

The 2025 season has crowned 11 first-time winners already, seven of which were rookies. This marks only the second time since 1980 that seven rookies have won in a single campaign.

LPGA Rookie of the Year

Miyu Yamashita (+850) has recorded five straight top-10 finishes. Currently leading the Rookie of the Year award standings by 32 points over Rio Takeda, the 24-year-old Japan native looks poised to make her second trip to the winner's circle.

2025 LOTTE Championship Picks

Hyo Joo Kim (+1200) tied for ninth at Hoakalei Country Club last year and won this event in 2022. In addition to securing her seventh career title at the Ford Championship, the South Korean has two runner-up finishes this season and has been one of the most consistent players in the LPGA all year.
