Kim cracked the top 15 in each of his last two Pebble Beach appearances. He was tied for second and tied for third in his past two tournaments.

Hideki Matsuyama (+2800) lost in a playoff to Chris Gotterup (+3000) in last week's Phoenix Open. Justin Rose (+2800) won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2023.

Jason Day (+3000) was runner-up in this event in 2018. Ludvig Aberg (+3500) finished second in the 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am.  Shane Lowry (+4500) was the second-place finisher behind McIlroy last year. Daniel Berger (+4500) won this tournament in 2021.

Jordan Spieth (+6500) was the 2017 Pebble Beach Pro-Am champion. He finished second in 2022. Wyndham Clark (+7000) was the 2024 winner. Tom Hoge (+12500) won this event in 2022.
