Scheffler, who came up one stroke short of playing in the playoff at last week's Phoenix Open, is the overwhelming +300 betting choice in the golf picks. Defending champion McIlroy is second in the golf betting lines at a distant +1100.

Pebble Beach Pro-Am Best Bets
Defending champion McIlroy will be making his first start of the PGA Tour season. It's also the first tournament of the year for reigning FedEx Cup champion Fleetwood. Scheffler has never won this event.

There's a $20 million purse up for grabs, along with 700 FedEx Cup points.
Let's have a look at the top contenders in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf picks for this year's tournament.
Scottie Scheffler (+400)
Scheffler finished -15 at the Phoenix Open, just missing out on the playoff for the title. Though he's never won this tournament, it's hard to look past Scheffler's level of consistent performance.
He's recorded 18 consecutive top-10 finishes. Seven of those were tournament wins.
Rory McIlroy (+1100)
Last year was the best year of McIlroy's legendary career, and it all began with a win at Pebble Beach. He wound up tied for third in his first 2026 event, the Dubai Open.
Viktor Hovland (+2200)
The Norwegian won the 2018 U.S. Amateur at Pebble Beach. He comes in off a top-10 finish in the Phoenix Open.
Tommy Fleetwood (+2500)
The FedEx Cup winner finished last season with a win, a second, and a third in his last three tournaments. But this will be his first action in five months.
Xander Schauffele (+2500)
In two tournaments this season, Schauffele has only made one cut and hasn't cracked the top 25. He's 71st on the PGA Tour in scoring average (71.02).
Maverick McNealy (+2500)
McNealy's childhood home was situated next to Pebble Beach. It's his home course. He was tied for fifth here in 2020 and runner-up in 2021. However, he hasn't cracked the top 30 since.
Si Woo Kim (+2500)
Kim cracked the top 15 in each of his last two Pebble Beach appearances. He was tied for second and tied for third in his past two tournaments.
AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Longshots To Consider
Hideki Matsuyama (+2800) lost in a playoff to Chris Gotterup (+3000) in last week's Phoenix Open. Justin Rose (+2800) won the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in 2023.
Jason Day (+3000) was runner-up in this event in 2018. Ludvig Aberg (+3500) finished second in the 2024 Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Shane Lowry (+4500) was the second-place finisher behind McIlroy last year. Daniel Berger (+4500) won this tournament in 2021.
Jordan Spieth (+6500) was the 2017 Pebble Beach Pro-Am champion. He finished second in 2022. Wyndham Clark (+7000) was the 2024 winner. Tom Hoge (+12500) won this event in 2022.
Tournament Prop Bets
In the golf prop bets on the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, Scheffler is the +200 betting pick to be the top American player. McIlroy is set with +240 odds to finish as the top British player. He's also given a betting line of +375 to end up as the lowest-scoring European player.

You can access +800 odds on Rose recording a top-five finish. Currently, the No. 3 player in the world rankings, along with his 2023 win here, he was tied for third last year and in 2019, when the U.S. Open was played at Pebble Beach.
There's also really solid betting lines on McIlroy (+135) and Fleetwood (+275) to finish among the top 10. Schaueffele (+100) and Gotterup (+110) provide positive odds in a top-20 finish prop play.
Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Picks
Last week, Scheffler spotted the leaders a 10-stroke advantage after the opening round and still nearly won the Phoenix Open. Only two players finished ahead of him.
As much as it's droll to back the favorite in a golf tournament with 80 players, that's what we're going to do here. You can't look past the impressive consistency that Scheffler delivers at every event. Go with Scheffler to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in the golf picks.
