With the 2024 Masters just a few weeks out, it's a great time to look at the futures for the prestigious tournament, which takes place at the iconic Augusta National Golf Course. The Masters is the first of four majors on the year. Augusts is a par 72 course. As previously mentioned, Rahm won last season while Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson finished as runners-up. Scheffler was the 2022 champion therefore he's got a track record of success here.

Scottie Scheffler (+500)

Scheffler is easily the best golfer in the world right now. The American is firing on all cylinders to begin 24', winning back-to-back tournaments at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship earlier this month. That's rare to see. Scheffler has also finished within the top-10 of every other event as well except for The American Express, where he came in 17th. Overall, Scheffler is playing the best golf of his life and it comes at no better time with Augusta right around the corner. He just finished -20 at the Players Championship. Scheffler is in a league of his own.

Jon Rahm (+1200)

Rahm might've made the switch to LIV Golf, but he's still a household name in the sport. In four LIV events to begin 24', the Spaniard has finished within the top-10 in every single one. He was tied for third in Mexico, eighth in Las Vegas, fifth in Jeddah, and tied for eighth in Hong Kong. Rahm was a star on the PGA Tour last season, winning four tournaments, finishing as a runner-up twice, and landing in the top-10 on 10 occasions. Rahm was -12 en route to the 23' Masters title, becoming the fourth Spanish-born player to win at Augusta.

Rory McIlroy (+1200)

Although McIlroy is struggling immensely to begin the PGA season with no finish above 19th, he's always one to watch in the Majors. The Northern Ireland native has four career wins at Majors. Out of his 58 appearances at the prestigious tournaments, he's logged 28 top-10 finishes. McIlroy was second at the 2022 Masters but missed the cut last year. It's the one Major he's yet to win. Considering his current form, it's hard to imagine him doing so but you cannot count him out. Expect McIlroy to at least be in the mix on the last day at Augusta.

Brooks Koepka (+2000)

Koepka was one of the first PGA golfers to take a bag and join LIV. It hasn't affected his ability to compete with the best of the best, though. Koepka barely lost to Scheffler in 23' at The Masters and has five Major victories in his impressive career. Koepka has just one top-10 finish in four events thus far in the LIV Golf season however, which is not exactly ideal heading into Augusta.

Jordan Spieth (+2200)

Spieth's form has been a mixed bag this season. He's 33rd in the FedEx standings, missing the cut at the Players Championship and getting disqualified at the Genesis Invitational. But, he was also sixth at the Phoenix Open and third at the Sentry. Spieth won the 2015 Masters and also won the 2015 US Open and 2017 British Open.

Xander Schauffele (+2200)

Schauffele is one to monitor at Augusta. He's off to a fantastic start this season, finishing top-10 in five of the seven events he's played in. Schauffele just finished second behind Scheffler at the Players Championship. He's currently ranked fifth in the world. His best finish at the Masters was second place back in 2019. Although he's never won a Major, Schauffele has numerous top-five finishes. He could make some noise at Augusta.

2024 Masters Futures Picks

You'd have to be a fool to not bet on Scheffler. He is high on confidence and killing the competition. I also like Koepka for a bet. For the time being, lock those two in, but things could change in the next few weeks.
