Buffalo's a big home favorite

Buffalo is a massive 13-point home favorite on Thursday night with the OVER/UNDER set at 49.5 points. After donning a superman cape and leading his club to an improbable comeback victory against the Ravens in Week 1, Josh Allen let his running game take over in Sunday's 30-10 victory over the Jets. James Cook scampered for 132 yards and 2 TDs while Allen added another 59 yards on the ground.

Sean McDermott's defense held New York to 0-for-11 on third downs and 154 net yards of offense. The oft-injured Joey Bosa also looked good with one sack and a team-high six pressures.

McDaniel's swan song?

After getting blown out by the Colts in Week 1, Miami came to play in Sunday's 33-27 loss to New England. De'Von Achane (eight catches, 92 yards, TD), Tyreek Hill (six catches, 109 yards) and Jaylen Waddle (five catches, 68 yards, TD) all racked up receptions. However, Tua Tagovailoa missed some big throws down the stretch and their run game struggled to only 61 rushing yards.

Making matters worse, the Dolphins defense is historically awful. After the Colts scored on every single possession against them in Week 1, the Patriots scored on six of their eight drives on Sunday. Could Thursday Night Football be the last hurrah for Mike McDaniel?

Historical Betting Trends

Buffalo has won 12-straight home games against AFC East opponents. In fact, they're 26-6 in the division since the start of 2020. Sean McDermott's club has won 10 of 11 meetings with the Dolphins over that time. And Josh Allen is 8-0 at home versus Miami since becoming the starting QB in 2018.

Last year, the Bills put up 31 against Miami in a Week 2 victory before scoring 30 on the Fins in another win later in the year.

Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins Picks

This one is going to be ugly. Over the first two weeks of the season, the Bills have scored 70 points and Miami has allowed 66. Now the Dolphins have to travel to Buffalo on a short week.

Take the Bills 13.0 (-110) with the OVER 49.5 points.
