Rams open as favorites
Los Angeles is a 4-point road favorite at Soldier Field on Sunday. Matthew Stafford led the Rams on two go-ahead touchdown drives in the fourth quarter of Saturday's thrilling 34-31 victory over the Panthers. The game featured four lead changes in the final frame, tied for the most in NFL playoff history.
After falling behind 21-3 at halftime, Caleb Williams recorded his seventh fourth-quarter comeback this season, including playoffs, in a 31-27 win over Green Bay. Coincidentally, Williams finished with the most passing yards (361) in a playoff debut since Stafford in 2011.

Offensive battle in store
Sunday's game has a 50.5-point OVER/UNDER, the highest of the four Divisional Round matchups. Both teams' defenses struggled mightily on wild card weekend. The Bears allowed Jordan Love to pass for 323 yards and 4 TDs, and the Rams surrendered the lead twice on two fourth-quarter Carolina touchdowns.
Sean McVay and Ben Johnson are two of the NFL's preeminent playcallers. Los Angeles led the league in points per game (30.7) this season while Chicago ranked ninth (26.2 PPG).
Running the rock
With a two-headed backfield featuring D'Andre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai, Chicago ranked third in the NFL with 141.3 rushing yards per game. Meanwhile, the Rams finished seventh in the league (126.0) using a combo of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. Chicago has the sixth-worst run defense in football in 2025, allowing 132.6 rushing YPG.
Additionally, the Bears pass defense is a bottom-8 unit, permitting 232.5 passing YPG. That could spell bad news against Davante Adams and Puka Nacua, who made 10 receptions for 111 yards and 2 total TDs in the victory over the Panthers.

Chicago Bears vs LA Rams Picks
Cold weather is poised to play a factor on Sunday with temperatures in Chicago expected to be 23 degrees. While the Rams haven't played a playoff game with freezing temperatures since 1983, their quarterback has tons of experience in the cold thanks to his days playing in the NFC North with the Lions.
In six career games in freezing conditions, Stafford is 3-3 with 1,519 passing yards, 15 TDs and only three interceptions. We'll take the Rams to cover (-4) with the UNDER 50.5.
